Victoria Day is a Canadian statutory holiday that honours Queen Victoria´s birthday.
The Victoria Day, is the first popular weekend for spring/ summer travel. Losts of people open up their cottages plant gardens, or just get away.
Banks, schools, many stores and restaurants are closed on the Monday.
Most of the people dream of studying English abroad because it gives them the opportunity to improve their level. Calgary, in Canada, is a great place for making this dream come true and being in touch with the culture and the language.
Next April 5th a group of nine students and a teacher will travel to Calgary to participate in the Calgary Catholic School District S.T.E.P Program. The students will attend classes in different schools and the teacher will accompany them and will be involved in the activities each of these schools has.
Gimnasio Iragua wishes them a great trip and hopes that this experience becomes unforgettable and meaningful for their lives.
